Porter, a senior adviser who is in charge of much of the documentation that goes to President Donald Trump for his signature, announced his resignation in a statement after his former wives made accusations against him in published reports. The city of Seattle, Washington, claims that Facebook has been violating its 1977 campaign finance law, which states that those who accept advertising dollars from political campaigns be transparent with the public about the “exact nature and extent of the advertising services,” as reported by Fast Company. If Facebook is found to be at fault, it could be liable for $5,000 per violation.
