Inside Elizabeth Hurley’s luxurious lockdown with glam dresses, bubble baths and bikinis

LOCKDOWN has been far from glamorous for many of us, sitting about in our pyjamas day in, day out, for months on end.

But for actress Elizabeth Hurley, this couldn’t be further from reality – as she has been sharing snaps from her luxurious pandemic lifestyle while relaxing at her £6million country estate in Herefordshire.

The 55-year-old has shown that Covid-19 hasn’t spoilt her fun, despite being stuck inside, as she dons glamorous outfits to lounge about at home.

Liz has kept lockdown lively by frolicking in the sunshine in a range of bikinis and churning out jars of home-made marmalade between sipping on cocktails.

With the first lockdown looming in March 2020, Liz headed to her Grade-II listed country manor, slipping into a skimpy black dress.

“Why go out when you can stay in?” she told her social media followers as the stay-in orders were given out, adding: “Why buy a new dress when you can squeeze into one you’ve had for 15 years?”

The actress, who shot to fame as Austin Power’s wife Vanessa Kensington in the 1990s, continued to stay well- dressed throughout spring despite having nowhere to go.

Liz frequented her Instagram page with photos in sexy outfits, including one snap of her in a lacy black dress while relaxing in her kitchen.

Instead of clapping her hands for the NHS, or bashing a wooden spoon against a pan like the rest of us, she thanked doctors and nurses in the sultry post.

“We are all full of the highest admiration for our wonderful NHS staff and are doing everything we can to not add to their burden,” she captioned the snap.

Weeks later, Liz and family celebrated her son Damian’s 18th birthday with a murder mystery night – donning an elaborate costume.

The Bedazzled actress donned a leopard-print turban wrap, a fur stole, large pearl earrings and a glamorous palette of make-up for the occasion.

As the summer rolled on, Liz found time to spend outside in her lavish acres of land, stripping down to a bikini – and even going topless.

One shot saw the mum-of-one lying half-naked in the long grass, telling her 1.8millions fans the importance of focusing on environmental issues.

While days later she celebrated that “spring had sprung” as she donned a pink string bikini top and denim booty shorts to enjoy the sunshine.

Showing off her toned mid-riff and ample assets, the model encouraged her following to “stay at home” in the caption.

She treated fans to further sultry shots as she promoted her product range with Estee Lauder, having a £2million contract with the company.

In a yellow bikini, Liz told fans she was enjoying the “English sunshine” while lathering up with SPF, removing her top to ensure an even tan.

Of course, the brunette beauty found time to dress up too – putting on glitzy Versace dress to “stay at home and watch TV” in May.

In June, Liz celebrated her birthday by kicking back in the bath, posting photo of her naked and covered in bubbles.

“Grateful to be happy and healthy and to have the best family and friends,” she shared. “Here’s hoping real life starts again one day.”

The star spent last summer appreciating the beauty of the English countryside surrounding her home, posing braless in the greenery.

“The temperature’s rising in our beautiful countryside,” she explained, wearing just an oversized cardigan to cover her bust and showing off her flat stomach by tugging at her trousers.

The actress revealed more of her fantastic body as she lay down in the luscious grass in just her bikini bottoms and beach cover up.

While life returned briefly to normal in the autumn, Liz returned with more lockdown content, this time keeping more of her clothes on.

Instead, she was photographed in a range of glamorous dresses – including a short blue number for a cameo appearance on Strictly Come Dancing.

The star celebrated Christmas in style donning a Gucci shirt, and stepped towards the New Year with a feather-covered Taller Marmo designer dress.

“Yes, I’m drinking cocktails in my little family bubble,” she revealed, looking stunning in a plunging V-neck LBD.

Since then, with lockdown continuing into 2021 – Liz has continued to party at home, in between her new hobby of making home-made marmalade.

Joking that being stuck inside has turned her into a “demented housewife”, the star still gets dressed up at every given opportunity.

“A couple of times a week, we dress up, light the candles and dance it out,” the Royals star revealed, sipping form a disco-ball glass.

In case her followers hadn’t already got the message, her latest luxurious post sees Liz with her long legs in their full glory.

Encouraging people to “make the most of it” while staying indoors, the actress laid down in a pink satin dress for another snap.

With the national lockdown continuing through until March, we’re looking forward to seeing much more from Liz.
