A WOMAN was left enraged after her mother-in-law accused her of being unfaithful to her fiancé because she got pregnant after his vasectomy.
The 28-year-old anonymous woman claimed her son looked just like her fiancé so it was definitely his.
A woman shared how her mother-in-law accused her of cheating on her fiancé when she got pregnant[/caption] She claimed her son looked just like her fiancé[/caption]“My fiancé and I have a blended family. He has two daughters from his previous marriage and I have a son from a past relationship,” she began.
“Shortly after the birth of his second daughter, my fiancé had a vasectomy.
“He and I also have a five-month-old baby boy. His conception came as a shock to us both, so my fiancé had a sperm count done.
“While low, he had some viable ones. We love our son and I couldn’t imagine life without him.
“But my fiancé’s mom made life a living hell. When she found out I was pregnant she tried to convince him I had cheated on him.
“She recommended him not to live with me until after the birth and demanded him to get a paternity test.”

The woman then claimed that after her mother-in-law had “done some research,” she concluded that it was “too unlikely” they could conceive.
Despite his mom being very vocal about the situation, the fiancé shut down any notions that the mother of his son had been unfaithful.
This then caused the mother-in-law to lash out and completely shun her new grandson.
The mom continued: “So she didn’t come to our baby shower, didn’t show her face at the hospital for the birth of her grandchild, or even sent a card.
“We didn’t get the test done and don’t plan to. Our son looks just like his dad when he was a baby.
“My mother-in-law caught wind that my parents visited the baby recently since they live across the country and got furious.
“She suddenly wanted to be an involved grandma and claimed I was the one ‘keeping her from her only grandson.’
“And that ‘most women would kill to have involved grandparents.’
But the mom wasn’t having it. She needed an apology from her mother-in-law.
She continued: “She said she was ‘just trying to protect her son’ and I’d do the same if I were in her shoes.
“But I was clear no apology, no baby. My fiancé is getting uncomfortable with our fighting and having to pick sides.
“He agreed that she’s been unacceptable but says she’ll never really apologize and I need to compromise or this will never end.
“I’ve heard from other people that I need to ‘be the bigger person.’
“I’m honestly tired of the arguments too but I can’t forgive her accusation so easily. Half of his family thinks I’m a catty cheater because of her.”
The majority of comments left on her post defended her decision on keeping her son away from her mother-in-law until she received a sincere apology.
One person even suggested: “She wants to ‘be an involved grandma’ so she can get a paternity test done without your consent.”
A second reassured: “You absolutely do not need to be the bigger person here.
“I swear that is a phrase created by people who don’t want to take accountability for being abusive.”
“I wouldn’t be the bigger person in this either,” admitted a third.
