Jamie O’Hara has called for Tottenham Hotspur not to select Davinson Sanchez after watching his former side narrowly beat Leeds United in north London
Tottenham once again started slowly and went behind inside the first ten minutes when Summerville capitalised on the gulf of space in between Emerson Royal and Eric Dier to fire beyond Hugo Lloris.
Sanchez started the game on the bench and replaced Clement Lenglet on 57 minutes and played as the right-hand-side central defender of the trio. He was in no man’s land when Rodrigo found himself in acres of space to put Leeds 3-2 ahead in the 76th minute with an effort that arguably Lloris should have saved.
Spurs had to rely on the brilliance of Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur for large swathes of the match, with the Uruguayan stepping up to the plate to score two late goals to secure a 4-3 win.
O’Hara wasted no time in taking to Twitter after the final whistle to share his thoughts and singled out the Colombian for some criticism.
Big win in the end, but the defence need an absolute slaughtering, we are a shambles at the back,Sanchez should be nowhere near the team, we can’t keep playing so defensive we are a very good team when we just go for it, surely the penny has dropped, play on the front foot #Spurs

How Emerson Royal has escaped the wrath of Jamie O’Hara is remarkable given yet another poor performance from the Brazilian, who was met with large cheers from the home crowd when he was brought off in the second half in place of Matt Doherty.
Sanchez is a player who is devoid of any confidence and looks like a shadow of the same person who finished last season strongly in place of Cristian Romero – a move away from Spurs in the summer must happen for his own sake.
