Liam and Noel Gallagher to reunite at Man City match as feuding brothers ‘in contact behind closed doors’
OASIS brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher could be set for a reunion sooner than expected.
I can reveal that the pair have floated the idea of going to see their beloved Manchester City play a match or, failing that, meeting for a walk in a North London park near their homes.
It comes after Noel split from his wife Sara MacDonald after 22 years earlier this year.
Liam famously disliked her, branding her a “witch” and accusing her of preventing the rock band’s reunion in scathing 2018 Twitter attack.
A music source said: “Noel and Liam are in contact behind closed doors.
“They are tentatively taking steps to meet up and rebuild their relationship.
“There’s a lot of lost time to make up for and both have missed out on ups and downs in each other’s lives. They need to patch up their brotherly bond before they even think about getting back in the studio for an Oasis reunion, but the wheels are in motion. Liam’s relationship with Noel’s wife was a huge obstacle to them reforming, but that’s no longer an issue. Their family are encouraging them too.
“The brothers are floating the idea of a Man City game or going for a low-key walk in the park.
“All of the speculation from fans is great as it ups the ante, they don’t mind it.”
‘It’s happening’
Liam got fans seriously excited over reunion hopes two weeks ago.
After a fan on social media asked if there was a “small percentage Oasis will get back together”, he responded: “It’s happening.”
Speaking days later, Noel said on French radio: “He should get his people to call my people, they know who they are, they know where we are.”
Oasis split in 2009 before a gig at a festival in Paris.
But next year is the 30th anniversary of Oasis’s debut album

VICKI Michelle has just appeared on EastEnders, but her home life has been even more dramatic recently.
The ’Allo ’Allo actress had to dial 999 when a fire started in her Essex home after being sparked in the airing cupboard.
She said: “It was really scary, my husband tried to put it out.
“We called the fire brigade, but carried on pouring water over it to stop the flames from going into the attic as the roof would’ve caved in and the ceiling would have collapsed.
“I had all the drama before the soap opera – it definitely primed me for EastEnders.”
Maya oh my, Michelle
MICHELLE Keegan is set to star in new Netflix thriller series Fool Me Once, as a special-ops pilot called Maya.
And she is so good in the role the author of the book the show is based on accidentally calls her by her character’s name even after cameras stop rolling.
Harlan Coben knew the former Corrie and Our Girl star would get the role as soon as she entered the casting room.
He said: “You have a picture in mind then someone walks in and you go: ‘That person gets Maya.’
“I really thought Michelle did. She is Maya now, for me. Sometimes I accidentally call her Maya.
“She is a very authentic actress.”
Shy of many talents
RISING star Shy Martin has revealed another talent – after dreaming up the idea for her own animated video.
The Swedish singer- songwriter told how she bought an iPad to create the storyboard for the promo for new track Late Night Thoughts.
She said: “It was such a fun journey. Initially I had to paint the storyboard and I don’t even know how to draw!”
Meanwhile, Shy, revealed that she would love to work with American singer Phoebe Bridgers on a song.
She added: “I am as passionate about writing for other artists because I think it is the coolest thing to hear an artist singing your song.”
You been spiked, Bjork?
BJORK must have needed some help getting out of this spiky ensemble that she wore for her show in Japan.
She was surrounded by a prickly bubble for part of her gig at Tokyo Garden Theatre on her Cornucopia Tour.
And the Icelandic star changed into two other flamboyant looks for the show.
Bjork released her tenth studio album Fossora last year, which deals with loss and grief following the death of mother Hildur in 2018.
The singer revealed that her sets have never been so “elaborate”.
She told The Sydney Morning Herald: “We have an army of curtains and screens choreographed to every song. The animation and the digital content is complex. It’s like a live animation feature. When you go to a show you’re inside it, like a magic lantern.”
Katya: I need a new hubby
STRICTLY siren Katya Jones is so keen to find a new man she is going on a “husband-hunting holiday” with a pal.
The pro dancer has been single since splitting from husband Neil Jones in 2019, after those infamous snogging snaps with her then Strictly dancer partner Seann Walsh.
The Russian star plans to jet off and mingle with fellas along with her snowboarder pal Aimee Fuller, who she often has to clarify isn’t her lesbian lover.

Speaking at the launch of the BBC Earth Experience in London on Wednesday night, she confessed that she had experienced no luck on dating apps.
She said: “They are rubbish. I am on Raya. I’m looking for someone who can handle a self-sufficient woman and add value to my life.
“Someone who is caring and loving – all I want is unconditional love.”
