For under £50, the expectant mother and her partner made sure their child would have a beautiful bedroom.
Katie explained that the couple used wood from Homebase to create a stunning panel feature wall[/caption]Posting on TikTok under the username @katiesilvv, the mum-to-be, who is currently pregnant with a baby girl, shared how the couple used wooden panel boards from Homebase to create their own panelling.
Katie explained: “How we panelled the nursery for under £50.
“We picked up the boards from Homebase, they were pre cut so it made it super easy!”
In the video, we saw Katie’s partner using the wooden boards from Homebase, to create his very own DIY panelling.
The DIY fan used the No More Nails glue to stick the shaker wall panels firmly to the wall.
Once he had stuck the wooden boards on the wall and neatened up the edges with some glue, the couple then got to work on the painting.
Seconds later, Katie showed off the finished result, leaving many open-mouthed.
The panelling looked fabulous, as though it had been done by a professional.
Katie furnished the stunning nursery with a beautiful cot, a large open wardrobe and even a sign on the wall which read ‘you are so loved.’
The pregnant woman later added: “We used two packs and only had to cut a little bit down for it to fit.”
Katie explained that on the panelling, the couple used a Dulux paint in the shade Nutmeg White.
For the top section of the wall, Katie confirmed that they used paint in the shade Pure Brilliant White.
