I forked out for a new pedicure at the salon but then I realised the grave error I had made – and now I have no toes
A BEAUTY fan was left with no toes after an unfortunate mistake she had made whilst treating herself to a salon pedicure.
Desperate to cheer herself up a little, first-time mum Samantha Jane, from Sydney, Australia, decided to give her toes a little makeover with some nail varnish.
The new Aussie mum revealed how she was left with no toenails after getting a pedicure[/caption] Samantha quickly realised the grave error she had made, sharing the fail on social media[/caption]”I’ve been feeling flat lately and I don’t know if it’s just me, but if I get a pedicure or a manicure, I feel like I slightly have my life together,” she explained to her fans on TikTok.
Excited to get nails done, she headed to the salon – but it was there that she made a grave error.
Amongst all the pots of colours, she, unfortunately, opted for a nude that was ”equivalent” of her skin.
Whilst the beauty tech was working on her toes, the parent had a quick glance and realised the shade was too close to her skin tone.
This, she demonstrated in the video, made her toenails blend in with the rest of her feet.
”Of all the colours I could’ve picked, I basically made my toenails invisible.”
Samantha went on to add in the caption that she had learnt from this experience, writing: ”At least I know for next time.”
Her clip, shared on social media where she posts under the username @iamsamanthajane_, has left people in hysterics, racking up over 1.5k likes.
A fellow beauty fanatic said: ”I do that all the time without realizing it, and it’s too late to change it because I get embarrassed to ask them.”
Meanwhile. someone else reckoned the fail wasn’t that bad, writing: ”Well, I think it’s cute.”

A professional revealed: ”I spend a lot of time telling clients not to get nude toenails because it either looks like skin or an infection.”
”Awhoop jump scare,” another was totally horrified.
