Everton have no interest in letting Leeds United target Ben Godfrey leave in the ongoing window, according to Leeds Live.
Leeds have yet to sign a player this month, but they are in the market for defensive reinforcements.
Everton star Godfrey, who previously worked with Whites boss Daniel Farke at Norwich City, is a player Leeds have been strongly linked with.
The 26-year-old centre-back has featured for only 91 minutes for Everton in the ongoing campaign.
It has been suggested that Leeds are in talks with the Premier League outfit to negotiate a move for Godfrey.
However, Leeds have made no progress on a move for Godfrey as Everton have no desire to let the defender move on, especially with no replacement having been signed.
Everton’s Premier League rivals Sheffield United are also monitoring the 26-year-old defender’s situation at Goodison Park.
It is expected that Leeds will face stiff competition to land Godfrey if Everton let him leave late in the window.
