Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices LIVE: The Indian stock market experienced heightened volatility following the presentation of the interim Budget. The BSE Sensex initially declined 139.37 points to 71,612.74, while the Nifty was 33.15 points lower at 21,692.55. However, both indices later rebounded, with the Sensex trading 91.52 points up at 71,843.63, and the Nifty 17.95 points higher at 21,743.65. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman emphasized the positive transformation of the Indian economy in the last decade. Proactive inflation management contributed to keeping inflation within a manageable range. GST collections for January surged 10.4% to over Rs 1.72 lakh crore, indicating buoyant economic activity.
