PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10) -- The charges against a former Olympian and longtime track coach have been changed. Conrad Mainwaring pleaded guilty in February to 16 charges with a majority of them being indecent assault and battery on a person who has attained 14 years of age.
Officials said that charge did not exist in the 1970s when the crime occurred. The charges have now been changed to assault and battery, which was a crime in the '70s. His prison sentence is unchanged, which is up to 11 years in prison.
