BBC wins Broadcaster of the Year at the New York Festivals radio awards
The BBC has been named as the 2024 Broadcaster of the Year Award for the second year running at the international New York Festivals radio awards.
Gold trophies for the corporation include The Shamima Begum Story, Series 2 of I’m Not A Monster, and Believe in Magic.
Silver trophy winners include The Global Jigsaw from BBC World Service, Shiny Bob: The Devil’s Advocate, and Crossing the Cuillin Mountains, both by BBC Scotland.

Almost Tangible was recognised with the 2024 Radio Production Company of the Year Award. The award-winning boutique production company was honored for their excellent immersive audio content. Award-winning entries include their Grand and multiple Gold-winning Hamlet Noir.
In addition to many awards for BBC services, This is Distorted was recognised for its work on KISS, and BFBS for a podcast.
