Double bankrupt Katie Price shows off car collection worth thousands – after being accused of ‘hiding’ from bailiffs
SHE has been declared bankrupt TWICE, with sky high debts that have even brought the bailiffs to the door.
But Katie Price still has no qualms about showing off an impressive car collection, worth thousands, as the vehicles appear in the background of recent social media reel.
The model appears in her latest video for her collagen shakes[/caption] But oops, what are all those cars in the background?[/caption]The 45-year-old uploaded one of her regular videos of her endorsing a collagen protein drink where she talks about all the benefits of the anti aging supplements.
Standing at the kitchen window, there appears to be a whole fleet of cars visible in her front drive, this comes after her ex Carl Wood confessed earlier this year that he’d been tasked with hiding her signature pink Range Rover from the taxman.
Indeed earlier this year the tax men swooped on her Sussex-based ‘Mucky Mansion’ to seize some of her assets, as the model has struggled to alleviate her debts.
The model formerly known as Jordan, had been ordered to pay her ex-husband Alex Reid around £250,000 in damages some four years prior, but as the money is still outstanding the debt collectors have started to close in.
Later her recent ex Carl Woods dumped her pink Rover back in her drive after confessing that he’d been tasked with hiding the vehicle from the bailiffs.
The reality TV star reportedly has reportedly run up debts to the tune of £3.2 million. She is said to owe around £760,000 to HMRC in unpaid tax, VAT and late payment penalties.
Having been declared bankrupt in 2019, after blowing her £45 million fortune, Katie remains in a state of insolvency, over her lack of cooperation in paying back the money.
Government guidance states that a person can be freed from bankruptcy with 12 months, providing one complies with the process of paying back.
But despite the appointment of a trustee to help resolve the debts, Katie has declined to properly assist ,which has led her to remain in a stagnant state of bankruptcy.
The TV star failed to send a lawyer to the latest hearing and has not been consistent in her communication with HMRC since the bankruptcy was declared.
Now she faces losing her £2 million mansion in the Sussex countryside or any other assets the bailiffs choose to purloin in exchange for her unpaid debt.
