Trump rants that Biden supports presidential immunity even more than he does
The U.S. Supreme Court is next week set to decide on Trump's claim that he should be immune from criminal prosecution in his District of Columbia election subversion case because he was acting as president.
But Trump insisted in a Truth Social post that Biden wants broad immunity even more to protect him from an indictment Trump has threatened if he were to win another term in the White House.
Trump gave no evidence to back up his claim.
"Crooked Joe Biden wants PRESIDENTIAL IMMUNITY to be protected perhaps more than any other living (barely!) individual because if it isn’t, and having absolutely nothing to do with me, he will surely be Indicted and Tried for many of his Dishonest, illegal, or Incompetent Actions (Afghanistan disaster, Southern Border catastrophe!)," Trump posted on Truth Social.
"A President should not be placed in that position - MUST BE FREE TO MAKE DECISIONS, HOPEFULLY CORRECT ONES!"

Trump posted earlier this year on his social media platform that Biden "would be ripe for Indictment" in retaliation for his own indictments on 91 felony charges in four jurisdictions, which he has repeatedly blamed on the current president.
He has argued that former presidents were entitled to absolute immunity from prosecution for any "official acts" they undertook as president.
The D.C. Circuit Court unanimously upheld a decision by federal judge Tanya Chutkan, who is overseeing the election subversion case, and rejected Trump's broad immunity claim and his argument that he cannot be prosecuted unless he has first been impeached by the House and convicted by the Senate.
The Supreme Court is set to hear his arguments on April 25.
Biden, despite what Trump claims, has said that he “can’t think of one” reason presidents should receive absolute immunity from prosecution.
