Real Madrid hunt for Tebas’ head over LaLiga Boost deal
April 18 – In the latest off-the-field saga engulfing Spanish football, outspoken La Liga president Javier Tebas reportedly faces possible suspension following a legal complaint by Real Madrid over the controversial CVC €1.9 billion investment deal that has helped finance infrastructure at scores of clubs.
In February a Spanish court dismissed legal action by Real and Athletic Bilbao against LaLiga after they claimed that an arrangement with private equity firm CVC, known as ‘Boost La Liga’ and signed in December,
