Alleged Guilderland retail thief arrested
An Albany man was arrested by the Guilderland Police Department for an alleged string of retail thefts in the Town of Guilderland. Damir A. Willis, 27, was arrested on Wednesday and is remanded to Albany County Jail.
GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- An Albany man was arrested by the Guilderland Police Department for an alleged string of retail thefts in the Town of Guilderland. Damir A. Willis, 27, was arrested on Wednesday and was remanded to Albany County Jail.
With the assistance of the Rensselaer County Sheriff's Office, police arrested Willis on a bench warrant and four arrest warrants from Guilderland Town Court. Police said he was wanted for numerous larcenies and burglaries at Crossgates Mall and Market 32 on Western Avenue.

- Third-degree Bail Jumping and Execution of a Bench Warrant
- Petit Larceny
- Third-degree Burglary
- Third-degree Burglary and fourth-degree Grand Larceny
- Third-degree Burglary and fourth-degree Grand Larceny
Willis was arraigned in Guilderland Town Court on Thursday. He had several outstanding warrants with numerous local agencies.
