LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- In light of the usual Farmers' Markets in Lake George's Shepard Park not happening this summer, Adirondack Pub & Brewery and High Peaks Distilling are launching a new event. The Lake George Wednesday Markets will run every Wednesday from June 19 to August 2.
"We're thrilled to introduce the Lake George Wednesday Market, providing a platform for local
producers to showcase their goods and fostering a sense of community in the heart of Lake
George," said John Carr, owner of Adirondack Pub & Brewery and High Peaks Distilling.
The Wednesday Markets take place in the parking lot at High Peaks Distilling from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a special happy hour from 6 p.m. 7 p.m. The market features vendors, food trucks, entertainment, pony rides, and more.
Farmers selling fresh produce and businesses with storefronts in Lake George can have a vendor space for free, said the organizers. If interested in being a vendor, you can fill out this Google form.
Free parking will be available to all vendors and attendees, said organizers. Adirondack Pub & Brewery and High Peaks Distilling are also the organizers of Lake George Village Oktoberfest each year.
"Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to support local businesses and artisans while enjoying a day out with family and friends," said Carr. "It’s going to be a lot of fun."
