My neighbour TOWED my car because I ‘keep parking outside his house’ but I live there too – I’ve got no other option
A MAN’s car was towed by his neighbours after he ‘illegally’ parked there for well over a YEAR – but he claimed to live there too.
The fuming resident took matters into their own hands after a Kia owner repeatedly ignored a ‘No Parking’ sign.
A video shared by the Everything Autos YouTube channel revealed how the 2014 burgundy motor was taken away by a tow truck.
A woman, appearing to be working with the removal company, filmed the job and said: “There’s a ‘no parking’ sign right there.
They said it’s been a huge hassle for them. They don’t want anyone on it.

“There’s the car. The property owner has asked us to remove [it], so that’s what we’re doing.”
However the owner, known as Adrian, claimed he lived right beside the property.
He said he had been parking there for years due to not having a space of his own.
The newlywed insisted he had been a resident on the street for three years, and had no other choice but to leave the motor there.
Everything Autos posted snippets from the heated phone call between Adrian and an employee.
The confused Kia owner said: “That’s my house there, I do live there, and also I do not have a parking space to put it.
“I’ve been living here for three years.”
The tow truck driver replied: “The property owner has said that we needed to remove the stuff, they don’t want anybody parking on their property anymore.
“They even put up a sign and you guys parked right in front of the sign.”
But the stunned Kia owner insisted: “Yeah, because I’ve got no space right now. I have one more car.
“Where should I park it? My car, it doesn’t fit in the garage because it’s too long.”
PLOT TWIST
It seemed the Kia owner had reason to believe he was entitled to park in the unmarked space.
Another woman then called the tow truck company and claimed to own the property in question.
She rang to ask why Adrian’s car had been removed, and revealed they had let him park there for years.
But, it appeared the homeowner did actually possess ownership as they thought – which sparked a lot of confusion.
The woman said: “We own a house, we’ve owned it for 30 years.
“There’s a little gravelled area where we have parked cars for years and years, apparently a man has parked in that area, and the car has been towed.
“We thought we owned that area ourselves.
“He’s been parking there for years and years. Who has had it towed?”
It turned out the property did not actually belong to the clueless woman.
The Everything Autos employee replied: “He’s parked directly on their property, he’s not in the gravelled area.
“They said it’s been a huge hassle for them. They don’t want anyone on it.”
But, the insistent women was still uncertain about who owned the land and asked Everything Autos if there was proof.
“They had a survey, they’ve got property markers there,” confirmed the staff member.
It comes after an resident who was fed up with her neighbour’s cars blocking her driveway also towed their car.

- You can leave a note should you not be able to speak to them directly.
- If a neighbour is parked on your driveway and this is part of your land, they are technically trespassing.

- Do not try and move the vehicle yourself because you will be responsible for any damages and have to pay for repairs
- The courts have the jurisdiction to remove a car from the driveway for you if you choose to pursue a civil case for trespassing.
The woman explained the large family next door own five to six cars between them – and regularly leave them parked across access to her drive.
Meanwhile, another woman revealed that she had an “abandoned” car removed from her street, but in doing so she ended up costing her neighbour a fortune.
An anonymous Reddit user claims she woke up one day and saw an SUV parked directly opposite her driveway, but assumed it was just a visitor.
