FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Friday Evening,
It has been a more seasonal day today with mostly cloudy skies and temps back in the lower to middle 60s for highs. The front will continue to move away from us overnight, bringing down the winds, and allowing for cooler and drier air to slip in overnight. Temps will start near normal in the lower 40s on Saturday, but with a cooler airmass in place, numbers will only climb to the upper 50s with plenty of sunshine.
Sunday will start with patchy frost across the area as temps will start in the low to mid 30s. Most of us should start at least just above freezing on Sunday. The afternoon will be beautiful with sunshine, but cool temps as high pressure is settled over us, and highs will be in the upper 50s again. Sunday night could be a touch cooler, with lows in the low to mid 30s again, and frost expected Monday morning.
Monday should be a nicer, more seasonal day, with mostly sunny skies, and highs in the middle 60s. Clouds will increase for Tuesday as rain showers and our next cold front is expected late day with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Showers will pick up Tuesday night and into early Wednesday. Wednesday will see some clearing later, with highs only in the upper 50s.
We will start off frosty again on Thursday morning, with sunshine and highs in the lower 60s in the afternoon. Friday expect a warm front to lift north late in the day, and this will bring a chance of showers for the second half of the day, with highs near normal in the upper 60s.
