KFC launches its first-ever perfume inspired by a mouth-watering item on the menu – so, would YOU try it?
FORGET the floral notes of Chloé’s Signature perfume – the popular fast food chain KFC has launched it’s very own scent.
Just when we thought we’d seen it all, foodies can now get their hands on a KFC-inspired perfume which is inspired by an item on their menu.
Dubbed the No. 11 Eau de BBQ, KFC’s new fragrance captures a ”classic BBQ experience” in every 100ml bottle, which is said to leave ”your mouth watering for the taste of smoky goodness”.
Spray a little of the £11 aroma and you will notice a mix ”smoky wood and charcoal notes”, with a ”tantalising aroma of sizzling spices and marinated meats”.
“This one-of-a-kind fragrance is guaranteed to leave you practically tipsy with hunger,” the designers behind the limited-edition perfume claimed.
“The lingering base notes create a woody, earthy foundation that promises to make your mouth water for the taste of BBQ.
”But No 11 is more than just a fragrance – it’s a celebration of flavour.”
According to the popular chain, the brand new aroma has been created to celebrate the launch of its new menu sensation, the limited-edition, Ultimate BBQ Burger.
Just like the fragrance which is sure to make you hungry, the sound of this burger is making our mouths water.
Made up of Original Recipe Chicken, crispy onions, smothered in a tangy BBQ sauce, topped off with a buttery brioche-style bun, the Ultimate BBQ Burger is confirmed to set your taste buds ablaze.
However, if you want to get your hands on both the perfume ands the new menu addition, you will have to act quick, as neither will be around for long.
Costing a purse-friendly £11, the KFC perfume is an absolute steal and all proceeds go to the KFC Foundation.
The non-profit organisation seeks to help disadvantaged young people from all over the world and has already given $36million (£29million) to support more than 16,000 students, restaurant employees and others.
Phoebe Syms, Brand Manager at KFC&I, said: “At KFC, we’re all about thinking outside the (burger) box, so, naturally, when we created a burger so irresistible, we had to bottle it!
”Behold, No 11 Eau de BBQ – capturing the mouth-watering scent of our brand-new Ultimate BBQ burger, which allows you to sizzle with every spritz.
“This one is for the real die-hard KFC and BBQ fans because who said fragrance can’t also be finger lickin’ good?”
As bizarre as it may sound, this is not the first time beauty fans have spotted rather unusual perfumes – a few years ago, for instance, Febreze launched Eau de “Stinky Stilton”, “Bin Bags” and “Brussels Sprouts” in time for Christmas.
Other food-inspired fragrances include the Pizza Hut scent, the KFC candle, the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups candle and even Burger King‘s very own perfume.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk came out with his ”Burnt Hair” perfume in 2023, which was described as ”The Essence of Repugnant Desire”.
