Good Tuesday afternoon,
A line of storms and showers is pushing across Central Ohio as we head into the rest of the late afternoon and evening hours. Progressing through the rest of today, there is still the potential that some of the storms could develop to be strong to severe.
Showers & storms will continue to pick up as we go through the rest of this evening. A line of showers is moving through this afternoon, but the atmosphere is starting to recharge quickly behind it, still providing potential for severe weather. More showers & storms are on the way for this evening.

Better timing for some potentially stronger weather will remain closer to 6 PM and last up until midnight. The current severe rating for Central Ohio remains at a 3/5 level threat for Columbus and areas to the west. A 2/5 level threat remains for the rest of us.

Main threats will be strong to damaging winds and hail. Hail could be as large as quarters and there is the chance that we see even larger sized hail west of the city. There is the isolated chance to see a few spin-up tornadoes. The higher risk for tornadoes also remains west of the city, but is still possible for most of Central Ohio.

Past midnight, skies will begin to dry. Clouds will mix with sunshine throughout the day tomorrow with temperatures pushing back into the lower 80s. There is another chance to see stronger weather on Wednesday towards the evening and overnight hours.
Spotty chances for rain remain through the rest of the work week with temperatures beginning to cool. We'll remain in the mid to upper 60s for the weekend with the chance for an isolated shower.
