What is stopping govt from cancelling Revanna's diplomatic passport, asks Jairam Ramesh
Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh has questioned the government about the delay in canceling the diplomatic passport of suspended JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna, who is accused of sexual abuse. Prajwal, the grandson of former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda, allegedly flew to Germany after scores of explicit videos and pictures went viral on social media. Ramesh compared Prajwal's escape to that of Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi, and Mehul Choksi, and asked why the Prime Minister has not taken action to cancel his passport. Several cases, including one of rape, have been registered against Prajwal in connection with the alleged sexual abuse.
