According to the lucky winner, it was a sign from the universe as she got a weird feeling she was gonna win the huge amount.
She said, “I do get weird feelings. The Northern Lights were over my house on my birthday and now I’ve won the lottery.
“It feels surreal. I was waiting for Ant and Dec to leap out and say that this isn’t real.”
Georgina scooped the bumper lottery along with her fellow neighbours after their postcode won the weekly Millionaire Street prize.
She said she would party along with all her neighbours to celebrate the big win.
She added: “I’m feeling shocked, but it’s really nice to win alongside our neighbours. We’ve all been talking about new cars, holidays and camper vans.”
The university events coordinator now plans to splash on her upcoming Dubai vacation she planned with her family.
She said: “I want to swim with dolphins, go up the Burj Khalifa, dine at a Michelin-star restaurant – and Paul wants to rent a yacht for a few hours.
“We’ll have the best week of our lives.”
Georgina was quick to make a list of all the things she would like to buy for her beloved husband and children.
She said: “Paul wants a new car, and my son would like a new pair of trainers. My daughter wants a pot for her earrings.”
When asked about how she plans to treat herself, she laughed and said: “I’d quite like a ride-on lawnmower.”
Paul, who owns a cleaning firm owner, added: “We won’t be able to top that for your 40th birthday now.”
How People's Postcode Lottery works
People’s Postcode Lottery costs £12 a month to play and there are guaranteed winners every day.
People’s Postcode Lottery costs £12 a month to play and there are guaranteed winners every day.
People play with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws.
A minimum of 33 per cent from each ticket goes to charity.
Every Saturday, £1million will be shared by one postcode as part of the lottery’s Millionaire Street prize.
Players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £1.2billion for thousands of charities and local good causes.
This prize was promoted on behalf of Postcode Animal Trust which supports organisations including Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, PDSA and Medical Detection Dogs.
Meanwhile, a granny who pocketed a whopping £250,000 in lotto prize money said she blanked when People’s Postcode Lottery told her about the win.
Evelyn Evans, 73, was so excited she’d won the Postcode Lottery that she forgot to ask how much the prize money was.
She took home a quarter of the £1million prize money due to her having two tickets – but had no clue about the amount when she won.
She was one of three lucky neighbours to get the jackpot when their postcode was picked for the weekly Millionaire Street draw on April 20.
But when lotto officials phoned her to tell her the great news, she completely blanked out and forgot to ask how much she had actually won.
She said: “I didn’t even ask how much I’d won when the Postcode Lottery phoned to say they were coming to my door and that I’d won a prize.
“It’s just mind-blowing. To think your postcode does actually come up when you least expect it.
“It’s been absolutely unforgettable. I’ve never ever thought I’d win such a big amount.”
It comes as a lotto jackpot winner scooped a jaw-dropping £100,000 – and so did all her neighbours thanks to a £12 raffle.
In March this year, another Postcode Lottery winner revealed that while she had won a £145,000 jackpot her dad only got £2,000 after a “strange” week.
It comes as a couple who won £100,000 on the People’s Postcode Lottery were just days away from a decision that would have left them with nothing.
