CSD of Albany cancels Tuesday classes for budget vote
The Albany City School District (CSD) announced that there will be no school for students on Tuesday.
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany City School District (CSD) announced that there will be no school for students on Tuesday. This is due to the budget vote that is taking place all day.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. with all voting locations listed on the CSD of Albany website. The budget proposal includes no tax-levy increase as well as three school-related propositions that would not have any tax impact.
The district will be holding professional development sessions for faculty and staff during the day. Classes will resume for students on Wednesday.
