Madonna And Sabrina Carpenter Announce Release Date For Bring Your Love Duet
Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter have announced that the wait is almost over before fans get to stream their new duet at their leisure.
Earlier this month, Madonna was one of the surprise guests during Sabrina’s second headlining slot at Coachella, commemorating 20 years since the Queen of Pop first made an appearance at the iconic US music festival.
As well as performing Vogue and Like A Prayer together, the two chart-toppers also used Coachella to give a new collaboration, Bring Your Love, taken from the Material Girl singer’s upcoming album Confessions II, its live debut.
On Monday afternoon, the pair confirmed that Bring Your Love would get its official release later this week, and would be available to stream from 11pm on Thursday 30 April.
“We’ve got something to say about it,” they teased on Instagram, quoting the song’s lyrics.
Confessions II is Madonna’s 15th album, and her first since 2019’s Madame X.
It will also serve as a spiritual sequel to Confessions On A Dance Floor, regarded by many fans as a highlight from her discography.
During the time since her last full-length release, the Grammy winner has been on two world tours, shot a cameo in the next season of Seth Rogen’s The Studio and achieved her first UK top 10 in 15 years with Popular, a collaboration with The Weeknd taken from the soundtrack to the ill-fated Sam Levinson drama The Idol.
Following her surprise performance at Coachella, Madonna immediately released Confessions II cut I Feel So Free to streaming services, which will serve as the album’s opening track.
She also teased more songs from the album during a surprise appearance at her producer Stuart Price’s DJ set at the West Hollywood club The Abbey over the weekend.
Confessions II will be released worldwide on Friday 3 July.
