Earthquake felt across southern Kazakhstan
Tengrinews.kz - Residents of the Zhambyl region felt tremors measuring up to 6 points on the MSK-64 scale, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
The National Scientific Center for Seismological Observations and Research of the MES recorded the earthquake on July 8 at 2:30 p.m. Astana time. The epicenter was located within Kazakhstan, 334 kilometers southwest of Almaty.

No casualties or damage have been reported so far.
Earlier, it was reported that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 struck the Zhambyl region, with the epicenter located 126 kilometers east of Taraz.
