Evans leads after Poland opener
Welsh driver Elfyn Evans, behind the wheel of an M-Sport/Ford, topped the leaderboard after the opening stage of the Rally of Poland on Thursday ahead of world championship leaders Sebastien Ogier and Thierry Neuville.
Evans was 0.8sec ahead of Hyundai's Neuville and 0.9sec in front of series leader Ogier in another Ford Focus.
The first full day of action on Friday sees eight stages over 55.58km.
