Canadian pair golden again at World Championships
Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford of Canada delivered a picture-perfect programme to retain their pairs title at the World Figure Skating Championships on Saturday.
The duo nailed their throw quad salchow in a performance that earned them a personal best free skate score of 153.81 to post a total score of 231.99.
China's Sui Wenjing and Han Cong, the 2015 world silver medallists who had led after the short programme, added 143.62 to their tally for a total of 224.47 to claim their second silver.
Germany's Aliona Savchenko and Bruno Massot finished third in their world championship debut as a team with 216.17.
