Dodgers-Nationals baseball game postponed to Sunday
The second game of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Washington Nationals Major League Baseball playoff series was rained out on Saturday.
MLB commissioner Rob Manfred said the game would be played on Sunday at Nationals Park, where the Dodgers won game one on Friday to take a 1-0 lead in the best-of-five National League Division Series.
Sunday was originally supposed to be a travel day for both teams. The league said the remainder of the series schedule would stay the same, with game three set for Monday in Los Angeles.
The Dodgers defeated the Nationals 4-3 on Friday, with pitching ace Clayton Kershaw going five innings to get the win.
Washington starter Max Scherzer took the loss after pitching six innings.
Kershaw and Scherzer didn't provide the pitching duel everyone expected as instead it ended up being all about the bullpens. Neither bullpen allowed a run in game one.
