Trinh-Duc recalled to France squad after Toulon return
Fly-half Francois Trinh-Duc earnt an early recall to the France squad ahead of next weekend's Six Nations trip to Italy following a first appearance for Toulon since November.
The 30-year-old broke his arm playing for France against Samoa in November but on Saturday made his injury return as Toulon lost 15-5 at Brive.
France coach Guy Noves brought Trinh-Duc into an extended 32-man squad to prepare for the final two Six Nations matches over the next two weeks, away to Italy and then at home to Wales.
Trinh-Duc's recall saw Toulouse half-back Jean-Marc Doussain dropped completely from the squad.
Doussain had been on the bench for France's first two Six Nations matches with Camille Lopez first choice at fly-half.
Trinh-Duc played at centre against Brive but came through the full 80 minutes.
Noves also called up Stade Francais centre Jonathan Danty and recalled Toulon prop Xavier Chiocci and Brive backrow forward Fabien Sanconnie.
