Tokayev met with the Prime Minister of Cambodia
Tengrinews.kz — President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet on the sidelines of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai, citing Akorda.
The Head of State noted that Kazakhstan highly values its partnership with Cambodia, which is built on strong ties of friendship and mutual respect.
The President of Kazakhstan emphasized the significant potential for driving positive momentum in trade and economic cooperation between the two nations.
According to the Head of State, the most promising areas for increasing trade turnover include agriculture, the textile industry, tourism, construction, the food industry, and transport and logistics. Specifically, Kazakhstan is prepared to increase supplies of grain, fertilizers, and other agricultural products. Furthermore, as one of the top 24 nations in the UN E-Government Development Index, Kazakhstan is ready to share its expertise in advanced technologies.

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet reaffirmed his country's interest in strengthening relations with Kazakhstan. He noted the importance of intensifying ties between the governments and business communities of both countries and expressed readiness to provide full support for the implementation of joint projects.
During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on cooperation within global and regional structures. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev thanked Cambodia for its support of CICA's activities and briefed the Prime Minister on Astana's initiative to establish an International Water Organization under the auspices of the UN.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Hun Manet invited the President of Kazakhstan to visit Cambodia at his convenience.
As a reminder, earlier President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with the Prime Minister of Thailand Anutin Charnvirakul.
