Man falls from a cliff in the Almaty mountains - rescue video

Tengrinews.kz — A man fell into a ravine after losing his footing on a cliff in the mountains near Almaty. Ministry of Emergency Situations rescuers provided first aid and evacuated him.
The incident occurred in the Karasay district of the Almaty region, near Terra Meadow, at an altitude of 2,610 meters. According to the caller, the man was unconscious following the fall.
Rescuers from the "Barys" Republican Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Almaty Akimat Monitoring and Operational Response Center were dispatched to the scene. The team had to navigate the mountain route through the Prokhodnoye Gorge on foot.
Upon reaching the victim in the ravine, rescuers immediately administered first aid.
The man sustained a head injury after striking a rock during the fall. He was safely escorted out of the mountainous terrain and transported to a location where he was handed over to Disaster Medicine Center staff. The victim was subsequently taken to City Clinical Hospital No. 12 for further medical examination and treatment.
