U.S. stock indexes registered a quartet of records on Monday as investors shook off a massacre in Las Vegas to take stocks further into record territory. The Dow closed up about 150 points, or 0.7%, at 22,557, the S&P 500 index rose 0.4% at 2,529, while the Nasdaq Composite Index advanced 0.3% at 6,516.
