Larry Weis, a Northwest native via Austin, Texas, is new Seattle City Light boss
Larry Weis, a veteran, Northwest-born utility manager who moved on to head Austin Energy in Texas, is coming home to be the new general manager and CEO at Seattle City Light. “It’s not too often that Seattle looks to Texas for environmental leadership, but under Larry Weis, Austin Energy has been among the nation’s leaders in renewable energy development, energy efficiency and electrification of the transit system,” said Michael Mann of Emerald Cities Seattle.
