ArmInfo. An large network of agents has been formed In Armenia, albeit indirectly, the main goal
of which is the destruction of the republic as an independent state. NA Speaker Alen Simonyan stated on May 21 from the rostrum of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
According to him, of course, there is also a group of misguided
citizens who sincerely believe that the policy of the country's
ruling "Civil Contract" party is on the wrong track. It is possible
and necessary to work with this group of misguided citizens, but the
goals of the other masses are completely different - the destruction
of Armenia as an independent state. And it is no coincidence that the
church is involved in political processes in the country, especially
when the church receives significant funds from foreign communities.
Simonyan expressed his belief in the need to tax the church. He
believes the time has come for this.
"Stop playing on emotions, history, at the same time collecting money
from the Diaspora, selling candles, Coca-Cola, wine, having
restaurants and not paying taxes," Simonyan said.
He noted that he would like to understand why church representatives
are above business, and why is not taxed, and does not pay taxes?
"For me personally, large taxpayers are the most important people,
because they are the ones who finance the security of Armenia," he
said, while expressing dissatisfaction with the fact that protesters
were gathering in the courtyard of St. Anne's Church.
