Zaruhi Postanjyan and her supporters through "storming with balloons" and beating plates "seized" Yerevan City Hall building
ArmInfo. Today, before the first meeting of the newly elected Council of Elders of Yerevan, a member of the municipality, the leader of the Yerkir Cirani Party, Zaruhi Postanjyan, as promised earlier, "stormed" the building of the City Hall.
Prior to the meeting, Postanjyan, opposite the City Hall, held a
rally during which numerous red balloons were blown up as a sign of
"the beginning of the assault". Then, Postanjyan and her supporters
put two plates with the portraits of Taron Margaryan and President
Serzh Sargsyan before the doors of the capital's municipality and
broke them, proclaiming that "the Yerevan City Hall has been taken
over."
However, Postanjyan said that the faction she heads will not
participate in today's meeting of the Council of Elders, since the
inauguration of Mayor Taron Margaryan is on the agenda. At the same
time, she said that in all other meetings her faction will
participate.
