U.S. dollar slips after CPI report
NEW YORK, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar weakened in late trading on Wednesday as market participants digested the July U.S. Consumer Price Index (CPI) data.
The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, decreased 0.14 percent at 92.9236.
In late New York trading, the euro increased to 1.1738 U.S. dollars from 1.1721 dollars in the previous session, and the British pound was
