in 2017 or 2018 it was reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu requested from the Americans that they ease the parole restrictions on Jonathan Pollard and allow him to make aliya and emigrate to Israel. In 2018 it was reported that the USA had rejected the Israeli formal request.

This post-war general aviation aircraft was produced by the Stinson division of Consolidated Vultee, later selling the type certificate to Piper in 1949.  This “Flying Station Wagon” version was an option available with the Stinson 108, featuring a utility interior with wood paneling and a reinforced floor in the passenger compartment.
