David Beckham backing Ole Gunnar Solksjaer to shine at Manchester United
David Beckham has backed his former Manchester United team-mate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to enjoy continued success as the clubs permanent manager.Three months on from being brought in by United as caretaker boss, Solskjaer this week signed a three-year deal at Old Trafford.Under the Norwegian the Red Devils have won 15 of 20 games in all competitions, moved into the Premier Leagues top four and advanced into the Champions League quarter-finals.Regarding Solskjaer, his fellow member of Uniteds 1999 treble-winning squad, Beckham told Sky Sports News: He is loved by the fans and the players and every individual that is at the club. Hes done a great job so far and it will continue. Its great for the club and great for him.Beckham, speaking at the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday, also expressed his excitement about how England have been faring.Gareth Southgates Three Lions beat the Czech Republic 5-0 and Montenegro 5-1 during the international break.Former England captain Beckham, who played with Southgate at international level, said: Its exciting.
