Christine Sinclair clinches Canadian victory over England in Manchester

England Women were beaten in the first of their four Road to France Series World Cup warm-up matches as a late Christine Sinclair goal condemned them to a 1-0 defeat to Canada.Canada captain Sinclair converted on the follow-up in the 81st minute of action at the Academy Stadium in Manchester, after Nichelle Princes shot had hit the bar, the 35-year-old registering her 180th international goal.England, back in action after winning the invitational SheBelieves Cup for the first time last month, struggled to pose much of a threat in the first half until Nikita Parris brought a save out of Stephanie Labbe in the closing moments.Our #RoadToFrance continues.
