TheEuro 2020qualifying group stage came to an end this week, with 20 teams sealing their spots in the continent-wide tournament next summer.Butthere are still four qualifying spots remaining, with a set of play-off fixturesnextMarch used to determine the quartet that will jointhose that have already qualified.We take a look at the 20 teams who reached the Euros, while we also see which teams still have a bit to do to qualify...A simple note that'seasy to follow: The top two sides from each group directly qualified for Euro 2020, while third-place qualifies for the play-offs.Winners of last year's UEFA Nations League mini-groupsqualified for the play-offs, but ifthose teams finished in the top two of their groups anyway, their play-off spotwas given to the next best-rankedsidein their respective group that hasn't already qualified for the play-offs. The 16 play-off teamsare split into four groups/paths - A, B, C and D - of four teams, who take part in asemi-final anda final to determine which team qualifies for Euro 2020. The play-off draw takes place on 22 November, and the draw for next year's groups takes place on 30 November.Group AWho's qualified automatically: England,Czech RepublicWho's taking part in theplay-offs: Kosovo, BulgariaGareth Southgate's England reached yet another major tournament, winning seven out of their eight games to top the group with a game to spare. Qualifying behind the Three Lions were the Czech Republic, the only team to beat England in the group, who held off pressure from Kosovo to reach next summer's tournament.However, the Kosovans will contest the play-offs, having won their Nations League group last year. They will faceNorthMacedonia in the PathD semi-final on 26 March and should they win that, they will play either Georgia or Belarus for a spot in Euro 2020.Because England also won their Nations League group, and therefore held a spot in the play-offs before qualifying directly, this means the Three Lions play-off spot is taken by Bulgaria, who only won one qualifying match in the entire campaign, but who are the next best-ranked team in the group.Group B:Who’s qualified automatically: Ukraine, PortugalWho's taking part in the play-offs: SerbiaUkraine and Portugal finished in the top two of Group B, meaning they qualify directly for next summer's tournament.Because the Portuguese won the Nations League this summer, their play-off spot went to Serbia, who finished third in their group.The Serbians take on Norway in the Path C semi-final in March, and could face Scotland in the final.Group CWhoqualified automatically: Netherlands, GermanyWho's taking part in the play-offs: Northern Ireland, BelarusMichael O'Neill's Northern Ireland nearly upset the applecart by almost qualifying ahead of Netherlands and Germany in the automatic qualification spots in Group C.However, a draw at home to Holland last week and a thrashing by Germany means the Northern Irish will have to settle for a play-off spot.O'Neill's side will take on Bosnia and Herzegovina in March's Path B semi-final, before taking on one of Slovakia or Republic of Ireland in the final.As Ronald Koeman's Netherlands won their Nations League group, this means that Belarus will also contest the play-offs next year. They take on Georgia in the Path D semi-final before potentially playing North Macedonia or Kosovo in the final.Group DWhoqualified automatically: Denmark, SwitzerlandWho's taking part in the play-offs: Republic of Ireland, GeorgiaRepublic of Ireland were also a team that came very close to a top two finish, but a 1-1 draw with Denmark in the final group game put the Danes and Switzerland through to Euro 2020 at Mick McCarthy's squad's expense.Ireland do still have the added hope of a play-off campaign in March. Theytake on Slovakia in the Path B semi-final, and, ifthey win that, will take on either Northern Ireland or Bosniain the final for a spot in Euro 2020.As Switzerland won their Nations League group, Georgia will also participate in the play-offs as the next best-ranked team in the group. They face Belarus in the Path D semi-final, and if they win that, will take on North Macedonia or Kosovo in the final.Group EWho qualified automatically: Croatia, WalesWho's taking part in the play-offs: Slovakia, HungaryIn one of the tighest qualifying groups on the continent, Ryan Giggs' Wales side qualified directly for Euro 2020 with a 2-0 win over Hungary this week.That result means Hungary will contest the play-offs next year. Slovakia also qualified for the play-offs in March, and they will face the Republic of Ireland in the semi-final, before facing either Northern Ireland or Bosniain the Path B final, should they get there.Group FWho qualified automatically: Spain, SwedenWho's taking part in the play-offs: Norway, RomaniaSpain and Sweden finished in the top two, leaving Norway in third place to contest next year's play-offs.They take on Serbia in March's Path C semi-final, with the winners of that tie facing either Scotland, Bulgaria, Israel or Romania in the final, with the winner of that matchgaining a spot in next summer's Euros.And as Sweden won their Nations League group last year, that also gives Romania a chance toparticipate in the play-offs and the next best-ranked team in the group.Group GWho qualified automatically: Poland, AustriaWho'staking part in the play-offs: North Macedonia, IsraelPoland and Austria finished in the top two spots in Group G, meaning they can book their tickets to next summer's European Championships.That gives North Macedonia the chance to qualify through the play-offs, and they face England's former group opponents Kosovo in March's Path D semi-final, before potentially facing one of Georgia or Belarus in the final should they get past the Kosovans. Israel have also reached the play-off stage.Group HWho qualified automatically: France, TurkeyWho'staking part in the play-offs: IcelandWorld Cup winners France are accompanied by Turkey as the Group H qualifiers for next summer's Euros.Third-placed Iceland will contest the play-offs.Group IWho's already qualified: Belgium,RussiaWho'staking part in the play-offs: ScotlandBelgium qualified for the Euros with a 100% record in Group I, while Russia comfortably shook off Scotland to join them at next summer's major tournament.The Scots, managed by former Kilmarnock boss Steve Clarke, will enter the play-off stage.Group JWho's already qualified: Italy, FinlandWho's taking part in the play-offs:Bosnia HerzegovinaLike Belgium, Italy also qualified for the Euros with a 100% record, and they were joined by Finland, who have now reached their first ever major tournament.This means Bosnia Herzegovina will contest the play-offs, takingon Northern Ireland in March's Path B semi-final.
