DJ Burns' game plan for Zach Edey included making jokes between plays during the Final Four
Burns and Edey were having a good time during the Final Four.
North Carolina State and Purdue featured a battle of two thrilling big men as DJ Burns was matched up against Zach Edey.
Edey, a two-time national collegiate player of the year, is one of the most challenging players to guard in the NCAA. It was a difficult assignment for Burns, who picked up two early fouls during the Final Four.
Due to his foul trouble, Burns only played limited minutes in the first half. But when he was on the court, it seemed that part of his plan to slow down Edey was to lighten the mood with laughter.

The Ringer’s Tate Frazier also observed that the two centers were having a “full conversation” and “having a fun time” on the court.

Even if Edey is a nightmare to guard, it is so fun that the two were able to enjoy themselves while on the floor in Glendale.
These are a couple of very enjoyable players so it it was great to see them having a good time.
