Netflix To Hold Special Theatrical Screenings for the 'One Piece' Season 2 Premiere
Netflix will be hosting special theatrical screenings for Season 2 of their hit adaptation, One Piece. The streamer sent out a press release today confirming the fan events will take place in tandem with the Season 2 premiere in more than 200 theaters in the US, Canada, and Japan, with showings in the US and Canada to be held at 6 p.m. local time.
US and Canada tickets will go on sale Thursday, Feb. 26, at 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET. at this link. Theaters set to host the event include AMC, Regal, Cinemark, Alamo Drafthouse and Cineplex, with additional theaters in Canada and Japan also set to screen.
The screening event will give fans the opportunity to watch as collective across multiple countries to really dive into the world of Luffy and his crew, and continues a trend from the streaming platform as it continues to learn the value of the theatrical experience among fans, especially those as enthusiastic as One Piece's viewers.
