Klitschko reports 28 new COVID-19 cases, one death from disease in Kyiv in past 24 hours
Twenty-eight new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, including five among medical workers, were confirmed in Kyiv in the past 24 hours, which is 30 cases less than a day before, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has said.
“One person died. There are a total of 69 fatalities [caused by the disease] in the capital over the period of the pandemic. As of today, 3,071 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Kyiv,” he said on his Telegram channel.
Among the new cases, eleven were confirmed for women aged from 21 to 63, fifteen – for men from 29 to 80 years old, and two – for girls aged 2 and 5.
Eleven people were hospitalized, while the rest stay self-isolated under control of their doctors.
Sixty-four people recovered in the past 24 hours. A total of 718 Kyiv residents have recovered from the coronavirus disease.
The majority of new cases were registered in Dniprovsky district (8). Four cases were confirmed in each Desniansky and Sviatoshynsky districts, and three in each Obolonsky and Darnytsky districts.
