Robredo takes first dose of Covid-19 vaccine
VICE President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo has received her first coronavirus shot.
Robredo, who is part of the A3 priority group or persons with comorbidities, got the Astrazeneca vaccine.
“We booked at the QC Protektado [website] via EZ Consult last May 13 for an appointment today,” she said in her Facebook post Wednesday. “Eighteen of us from the [Office of the Vice President] — all A3s — went together.”
Robredo thanked the nurse who administered the vaccine, saying she did not feel any pain. She also hailed the local authorities for the smooth-sailing process.
“Sobrang maayos ang proseso. Mabilis ang hintayan kasi super organized (The process was smooth. We didn’t have to wait long as it was super organized),” said Robredo.
The Vice President, likewise, encouraged the public to have themselves vaccinated against Covid-19.
