Urgent appeal for two missing schoolgirls, 12, ‘believed to be together’
They've been missing for nearly a day.
Two schoolgirls have gone missing from their Birmingham homes and are ‘believed to be together’.
Demi and Macie, both 12, were last seen Sunday.
Demi is from the Kitts Green area, about five miles east of Birmingham city centre.
Macie is from the neighbouring Lea Village, a suburb of Lea Hall.
Police issued two back-to-back appeals for the little girls today.
A spokesperson said: ‘Have you seen Macie? The 12-year-old is missing from the Kitts Green area of Birmingham and we are very concerned for her.
‘Macie is around 5ft 4in tall, has dark brown long hair with blonde streaks, and was last seen wearing a black coat with a fur hood, black Nike Air Force trainers and light blue jeans.
On Demi, the police added: ‘Demi is around 4ft 8in, has long straight brown hair and was last seen wearing white tracksuit bottoms with butterflies on the side, a tracksuit jacket and black and blue trainers.
‘We believe that she may be with Macie who is also missing.’
