Cisco tweaks certs for changing IT landscape
Cisco this week updated its certification program reflect the changing skills sets needed as the industry moves to Internet of Things, cloud and network programmability. The company’s Cisco Certified Internet Expert (CCIE) Data Center and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security have been “refreshed,” Cisco says, to reflect these new disciplines.
CCIE Data Center version 2.0 certifies skills needed to design, implement and troubleshoot modern data center infrastructure. Version 2.0 provides skills focused on end-to-end management of complex data centers aimed at policy-based infrastructure, advanced virtualization, orchestration and automation.
