GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Stuyvesant Plaza has begun construction on "The Lawn," described as a greenspace out front of Jean Paul Spa and Salons. The Lawn will take up roughly 3,000 square feet and will act as a multi-purpose turf area for outdoor events and activities.
Spots for fitness, lawn games, patio space, and more will be featured on The Lawn. Patrons can sit outside and savor the good weather and complimentary Wi-Fi will be available for people looking to get work done while taking in the fresh air.
The stores and restaurants surrounding will remain open during construction, however individual business hours may vary.
“This summer at Stuyvesant Plaza promises to be an exciting and festive celebration of sunny days and warm nights with the addition of our new community space,” said Stuyvesant Plaza General Manager Rachel Ferluge. “We are planning to host a robust calendar of outdoor events at The Lawn this summer and fall, including our annual Summer Market. From yoga classes to story hours to live music, The Lawn will offer something for everyone to enjoy.”
