CAMBRIDGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Forest rangers assisted firefighters on the scene of a one-acre brush burn in Cambridge on Monday, April 1. The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) says the brush burn escaped containment and spread across from a structure.
The DEC says the East Fire Department was already on the scene when forest rangers arrived. One person was ticketed for leaving the fire unattended.
