Road infrastructure in Bulgaria will be designed according to the intensity of traffic for 30 years ahead. This is the new Ordinance on Road Design, which has already been promulgated in the State Gazette, the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works announced. It introduces increased requirements for drainage of the roadway, with the aim of avoiding water collection and creating pothole conditions.

Thieves blew up an ATM in the Zheleznik district of Stara Zagora at 3 o'clock in the morning. The perpetrators were several people with masks. They acted very quickly because the noise of the explosion echoed across the neighborhood. The Bulgarian EU Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, Mariya Gabriel, was awarded Peru's highest state honors. The reason is the abolition of short-stay visas for Peruvian citizens across the EU. Sofia. Digitalisation in tourism will accelerate its sustainable growth and boost investment, says Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova in her address on the occasion of the World Tourism Day, the ministry press office said.
According to Minister Angelkova, Bulgaria has great potential to develop its tourism sector, which forms about 13% of the GDP and was identified as a national priority by the government. The Bulgarian National Bank has issued (17th September) the fifth entry in a series of coins entitled “Medieval Bulgarian Rulers,” which has been issued intermittently since 2011. The latest coin features the Bulgarian ruler Ivan Asen II (circa. 1193–1241) who became emperor of the Bulgarian lands in 1218 and ruled until his own death in 1241.
