Gen Z Shifts the Balance: Young and Previously Apathetic Voters Power Progressive Bulgaria’s Win

“We Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria” (PP–DB) has emerged as the main source of transferred votes to the clear election winner, Rumen Radev’s political project, “Progressive Bulgaria.” A key highlight of the vote is the strong support from Generation Z, alongside a major mobilization of voters who had abstained in the previous parliamentary elections.

According to data released after voting ended by the polling agencies Trend and Alpha Research, 67% of voters who did not participate in the last elections backed Progressive Bulgaria this time.
